St. Peter’s Engineering College , sponsored by the National Commission for Women, brings to you A three day National Level Seminar on “Women in decision making roles in corporate” from 25th September 2023 to 27th September 2023.
Overview
The objective of this program is to examine the association between women participation in strategic decision-making roles and corporate social responsibility. Women participation in strategic decision-making roles is measured using: The women presence in different positions on the board of directors, such as women board member, independent board member, chairperson, and audit committee member; and the women presence in top management roles, such as chief executive officer (CEO) and chief financial officer (CFO).We need to resist the tyranny of low expectations. We need to open our eyes to the inequality that remains. We won’t unlock the full potential of the workplace until we see how far from equality we really are Sheryl Sandberg. More diversity in the boardroom means maximising talent and availing of more balanced and creative decision making. This can only lead to a more stable, sustainable, and profitable organisation.
