Dr. A. Ramaswami Reddy
Dr. A. Ramaswamy Reddy is the Principal and Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at St. Peter’s Engineering College (SPEC) (Autonomous). He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU Kakinada and brings with him over 19 years of rich experience in teaching and research. Over the course of his career, he has served in several key academic and administrative roles, including Principal, Dean, Head of Department, Controller of Examinations, and Chief Warden at reputed engineering institutions.
His research interests span across image processing, data mining, and machine learning, and he is proficient in advanced research methodologies, technologies, and applications. Alongside his research expertise, he possesses strong knowledge of various programming languages and has extensive experience in laboratory management, data collection, and analysis. He has successfully guided more than 200 B.Tech students, 50 M.Tech students, and is currently supervising five Ph.D. scholars.
Dr. Ramaswamy Reddy has an impressive publication record, with over 25 papers in reputed international journals and numerous presentations at national and international conferences. He has delivered more than 30 invited talks and seminars, organized around 20 workshops, conferences, and guest lectures, and has also been invited as a resource person for various academic events outside his institution.
He is an active member of several professional bodies, including IEEE, ISTE, and holds a Life Membership with FIE.
