Introduction:

STARTUPEDIA’25, a premier entrepreneurial event, was organized by the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) to provide a platform for budding innovators and startups. This year, the event witnessed the participation of 50 teams from various institutions, each presenting groundbreaking ideas across diverse domains.

Participation from St. Peter’s Engineering College:

Five teams from the 2nd-year CSC (Cyber Security) department of St. Peter’s Engineering College actively participated in this competition. They showcased innovative ideas with strong business potential, reflecting their expertise in technology, sustainability, and problem-solving.

Achievement:

Among the 50 competing teams, one of our teams secured the Runner-up position for their remarkable idea:
💡 “Fabric Threads Using Recycled Plastic” – An eco-friendly initiative aimed at reducing plastic waste by converting it into usable textile threads.

Presentation & Evaluation:

The event comprised multiple evaluation stages, including:

  • Initial Screening: Shortlisting of ideas based on innovation and feasibility.

  • Business Model Pitch: Detailed presentation covering problem identification, market analysis, technical aspects, and scalability.

  • Q&A Session: Interaction with industry experts and investors for feedback and viability assessment.

The runner-up team from our college demonstrated exceptional research, business acumen, and presentation skills, which impressed the judges.
