The Department of CSM, St. Peter’s Engineering College, in collaboration with GRADIENT, organized SPECATHON 2024, a 36-hour national-level hackathon. The Gradient Club of the CSM Department at St. Peter’s Engineering College warmly welcomed participants to one of the most exciting events of the year—SPECATHON 2024. This 36-hour national-level hackathon, held on 20th and 21st September 2024, aimed to bring together brilliant minds from across the nation to collaborate, compete, and innovate. The event took place at the college’s campus in Maisammaguda, Kompally, Hyderabad.

SPECATHON 2024 centered around the theme “Innovate, Collaborate, and Dominate: Hacking the Future Together!” Participants were encouraged to unleash their creativity and develop solutions across various cutting-edge domains, including:

Program Highlights

Day 1: 20th September 2024

  • 9:30 AM: The event began with an Inauguration Ceremony, where dignitaries and guest speakers shared their insights on the significance of hackathons and the impact of creative problem-solving in the technology sector.
  • 11:00 AM: Participants were assigned tasks and formed teams to begin their innovative coding sessions.
  • 1:00 PM: A break was taken for Lunch, allowing participants to recharge and network with peers.
  • 2:00 PM: Review 1 was conducted, offering teams feedback and guidance to ensure they were on the right track.
  • 4:30 PM: A Short Break gave participants a quick pause before continuing their tasks.
  • 6:00 PM: Review 2 assessed the progress made by each team.
  • 8:30 PM: Dinner was served to all participants.
  • 10:00 PM: The next Assignment of Tasks set the stage for overnight coding and development.
