Overview: The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI&DS) at St. Peter’s Engineering College organized an industrial visit to the Infosys SEZ Campus in Pocharam on the 23rd of August, 2024. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the corporate environment and to understand the functioning of a leading IT company like Infosys.

Participants: The visit was attended by students of the AI&DS department, accompanied by faculty members, including the department heads, Dr. P. Deepan and Ms. M. Arsha Reddy.

Details of the Visit: The students were given a guided tour of the Infosys SEZ Campus, showcasing the state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. They were introduced to the various departments within Infosys and given an overview of the projects and technologies the company is currently working on, particularly in the areas of AI and Data Science.
