St. Peter’s Engineering College hosted its highly anticipated “Ignite 2024” Orientation Day on the 31st of August, 2024. The event, organized for all first-year students and their parents, aimed to provide a warm welcome and introduction to the academic journey ahead.
The program commenced at 9:00 AM at the Shantha Open-Air Auditorium, where a large gathering of excited students and their supportive parents filled the venue. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as everyone eagerly awaited the start of the event.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Dr. B. Ravindra Reddy, Director of Autonomous College Affairs at JNTUH. Dr. Reddy shared valuable insights on the importance of autonomous education and the pivotal role it plays in shaping future engineers. His address emphasized the need for innovation and critical thinking in the field of engineering.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Gampa Nageshwar Rao, the Founder of Impact Foundation. Mr. Rao captivated the audience with his inspiring words, encouraging the students to harness their potential and make a significant impact in their respective fields. His speech focused on the importance of self-belief, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.
The event was also attended by key members of the college management. Sri. T. V. Reddy, Secretary & Correspondent, expressed his delight in welcoming the new batch of students and reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing a holistic education. Mr. T. Anuraag Reddy, Administrative Director, and Dr. K. Sree Latha, Principal, also addressed the gathering, offering their best wishes and guidance to the incoming students.
