On 25th January 2025, the ICC & Cultural Committee of St. Peter’s Engineering College organized the “Nari-Shakthi” workshop, focusing on empowering women with self-defense skills. Held at the Open-Air Auditorium, the session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members alike.

The workshop was conducted by G. Naga Raju, an esteemed NIS Coach, who demonstrated practical techniques and strategies to enhance situational awareness and build self-confidence.

The Principal, Dr. K. Sree Latha, along with Secretary Sri T. V. Reddy, inaugurated the event and emphasized the significance of self-defense training in promoting women’s safety and empowerment.

The event successfully met its goal of fostering a sense of confidence and resilience among the participants. Coordinators Dr. M. Saritha, Dr. Mani Bacchu, and Ms. Arsha Reddy ensured the smooth execution of the workshop.
