Event Overview: On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology at St. Peter’s Engineering College organized an exciting coding challenge titled “Code the Tricolor.” This event was designed to engage students in a patriotic-themed coding competition, celebrating India’s independence through innovation and technical skills.

Event Details: The coding challenge, aptly named “Code Flag,” was a 78-minute competition where participants were tasked with developing a code that symbolized the Indian tricolor flag. The challenge aimed to not only test the coding skills of the participants but also to instill a sense of national pride through their creations.

The event was free for all participants, and registration was open to all students within the department. The response was overwhelming, with a large number of students registering to showcase their programming expertise.

Outcome and Winners: The event concluded successfully with several impressive submissions. The participants displayed remarkable creativity and coding proficiency, making it difficult for the judges to select the winners. However, after careful consideration, the top three entries were awarded prizes. The winners were recognized for their innovation, technical skill, and their ability to represent the Indian tricolor through code.

Acknowledgments: The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the student coordinators, P. Rama Manikanti and M. Rajesh Reddy, under the guidance of the faculty coordinator, Mr. A.
